PLEASE NOTE  Lay-by parking at Lady’s Wood, Cheston Lane, South Brent.  Parking here is EXTREMELY limited so car share is totally necessary from P&R with 4 or 5 people please.  It is only a very short drive to walk start. 

This local walk of approx 6 miles will take us through Lady’s Wood towards Owley and up on to the moor, heading towards Ugborough Beacon. 

A couple of hills and steep ascents including very muddy trails - poles advised.

The route includes a small section on very quiet lanes. 

As the walk is after March 1st dogs must be on leads please.

The route has very little shelter so rain or shine, please come prepared.
