The walk is approximately 6.5 miles through the beautiful Flete Estate, starting from Holbeton and following a circular route along a wooded track with some open field sections.

The path is generally good with some uneven sections, which will be dry now after the recent hot weather which will make for easier walking. The woodland track opens out at sections with stunning views across the estate and of Flete House.

There is a short steeper section of the route at the beginning, but this is easy to navigate and takes you to some of the most spectacular wooded parkland.

Walkers should be prepared for some narrow sections of path, so appropriate footwear and walking poles are advised. Please come prepared for the conditions of the day.

We will have the usual stops for coffee and lunch, and there will be a debrief at the Mildmay Colours Inn, Holbeton.
