Toilets:  Between the Water Treatment Works and 2nd car park at the other side of the dam

The walk is approximately 6 miles through woods and open moorland with 2 short sections on open road at the start and finish point.

The walk is on Dartmoor so some sections will be muddy, wet and rocky.  There are 2 short steep sections but walkers will be rewarded by wonderful views across the valley - weather permitting.

Please come fully prepared for the conditions on the day.  Walking poles and gaiters are advised.
