Circular walk - circa 7 miles - taking in woodland,  moorland, Devonport Leat, River Meavy, Black Rock Tor & Logan stone & see where they bored holes to see if the area was suitable for a reservoir, remains of a settlement & tin mining area, granite crosses.

There are livestock about, some with their young & some still pregnant, so dogs need to be controlled.

Bring own refreshments for coffee & lunch stops.

Wear suitable clothing & footwear appropriate for weather conditions on the day.

There are no toilet facilties on this walk.  The only toilets are near the Burrator Dam when you access the area from Meavy or Dousland.

Debrief venue to be decided by group on the day.
